Forum Title: Mounting "ground flood lights"???
Which way do you think is the best way to mount ground flood lights ( 150 wt. HPS ) ( 100 HPS ). I imagine I'll run uf cable to these fixtures, mount fixtures to a wp box with wp cover, using the 1/2" nipple off the fixture to screw into the cover. Use 1/2" rigid galvanized pipe to support the box, and flex out of the ground with wp flex into the box. Any other ideas?? Thanks, Steve..

Since you're using UF....how about a 'rocket-perma-post'?Manufactured PVC tube with stabilizing fins, 1/2" NPT on top. (Arlington?)Eliminates WP box, cover, flex, etc.
